Blockchain Integration
Fanable leverages blockchain to bring security, transparency, and trust to your collectibles. Blockchain provides an unchangeable record of every interaction with each item, allowing collectors to confidently track ownership and history, from initial submission to each transaction.
Why Use Blockchain? For collectors, blockchain adds a new level of authenticity and security to the collecting experience. Each collectible is backed by a digital record stored on a secure blockchain, allowing you to verify its authenticity and view a complete ownership history. It ensures that every transaction is fully traceable and tamper-proof, so you can manage, buy, and sell collectibles with confidence.
How It Works Here’s how we digitize and track your collectibles:
Receiving and Scanning: When your collectible arrives at our secure vault, we carefully inspect and scan it to confirm its authenticity and condition.
Digitization & Minting: After verification, we create a high-quality 3D digital replica of your collectible, a process we call digitization. This digital version, known as a Digital Ownership Certificate (DOC), is then minted and linked to your ERC-4337 smart wallet, recording your ownership on the blockchain.
Ethernity Chain: To enhance security and speed, we use the Ethernity Chain Network with Layer 2 solutions, ensuring fast transactions and advanced AI-powered security for every collectible.
Blockchain Activity
Under the “Activity” tab in your profile, you’ll find a record of each interaction with your collectibles on the blockchain. This includes:
Purchase: Details when you buy a collectible, marking it as part of your collection.
Sale: Tracks when you sell a collectible to another user.
Reveal: Recorded when you open a mystery case and the collectible inside is revealed.
Transfer In/Out: Records any movement of your collectibles between your Fanable wallet and an external wallet, allowing you the flexibility to store your digital collectibles wherever you choose.
Redemption: When you redeem a physical asset, the DOC moves to an escrow state and is then retired once you receive the item.
Digitization: Marks the moment your physical item is transformed into its digital version, recorded on the blockchain.
Each activity status—Pending, Success, or Failed—lets you know where your transaction stands at any given time.
What is Epic Chain?
Epic Chain is a Layer 2 blockchain network optimized for fast and secure transactions. It enhances the security of your digital assets with AI-powered protocols. What does “minting” mean?
Minting is the process of creating a digital version of your collectible, represented by a DOC on the blockchain, permanently linking it to the collectible’s ownership and history.
What does “transfer” mean?
A transfer means moving your digital collectible from your Fanable wallet to an external wallet, such as MetaMask, outside of the Fanable platform. Note: Collectibles can only be redeemed when stored within the Fanable platform, though they can be transferred back into the Fanable wallet at any time.
What does “burn” mean?
Burning is the process of retiring the digital version of your collectible when the physical item is redeemed. It ensures only one version, digital or physical, exists. What is an ERC-4337 smart wallet? An ERC-4337 wallet is a self-custodial wallet that operates as a smart contract, not a traditional account. This means you control your collectibles directly, without needing a private key for every transaction. Plus, ERC-4337 wallets allow added security options like multi-signature transactions, social recovery, and gas optimization, making them flexible and secure for collectors.
How do I get my smart wallet?
Upon signing up with Fanable, an ERC-4337 smart wallet is automatically created for you, securely holding all your digital collectibles.
Why isn’t my collectible showing on the blockchain yet?
Some actions, like purchases or transfers, may take a few minutes to appear due to network processing times. You can track the status of your transactions under the Activity tab.
